How do you remove anti-theft tags from clothing?

I recently bought a swim suit and noticed it still has the tag on it. I think it%26#039;s a Hard Tags SuperTag® Mini.. (I looked that up) But I can%26#039;t figure out how to remove it! If anyone knows how to take it off, it would be VERY much appreciated.





(The store is very far away from my house so I can%26#039;t just go back and have them remove it.)

She bought something with tag on and someone from the store came out and removed it for her. It was, after all, their fault.





So give them a call and insist they do this for you. Remeber that it is THEIR mistake and not yours, so they should put it right.

You have to take this to a store that has the machine to separate the two parts. Take it to a mall--most malls have stores with sensors like this one. Most specifically a Macy%26#039;s, since I shop there enough to know.





Just take the receipt with you so they don%26#039;t give you the fish eye, lol.
Reply:they are magnetic, you need magnet on either side or a pair of wire cutters to snip the pin in the middle
Reply:well idk if this will help or not but try rubbing the handle looking part on somthing metal or magnetic beacuse thats what they usualy do at the store when they take them off, good luck!
Reply:two pairs of pliers. Hold each firmly on either side of the bump, then try to fold the plastic in half. The pin should pop out. I use to work in a clothing store and sometimes the tag remover was broken, and we still had to remove the tags.
Reply:You are probably going to have to take it back to the store that you got it from and make sure you take the receipt. Even though it is 4 hours away it may be worth it. I hope this helps. =D

Reply:TAKE IT BACK IF IT ONE OF THOSE WHERE THEY USE A MACHINE OF SOME SORT TO REMOVE IT THEN YOU WILL HAVE INK ON YOUR GARMENTS IF YOU REMOVE IT YOURSELF.
